A fool and his money…

by on October 24, 2013

For the government to permit banks to issue money, borrow that money, and pay interest on it is idiotic.
– William F. Hixson

The title of this post is of course a reference to the saying “a fool and his money are soon parted.” We could add “A fool and his money may soon be reunited, but in a debtor-creditor relationship.”

In lieu of a photo, which I usually try to post along with the postings in this quotes-category, the amusing tidbit (which I an three other people will have found highly amusing: i put william f. hixson in google image-search and got…Bill Hicks!

The quote was retrieved from – Joseph Huber’s blog.
